Memory factory Macronix announced internal self-collection of revenue in September, which amounted to NT$2.903 billion, an increase of 13.5% from the revenue of NT$2.557 billion in August, and an increase of 9.4% from the revenue of NT$2.653 billion in the same period in 2024. This is a double increase in annual growth and monthly growth, and has reached a new high record in the past two and a half years.

In terms of overall performance, due to the imbalance of memory supply and demand in the market and the increase in memory prices driving demand growth, Macronix's revenue in the third quarter of 2025 reached 8.214 billion yuan, an increase of 20.81% from the second quarter, a new single-quarter record since the 11th quarter. Cumulatively, revenue in the first three quarters of 2025 was NT$21.151 billion, an increase of 5.9% compared with the same period in 2024.

According to Macronix’s last quarter’s press conference, the primary focus goal in the second half of the year is to turn losses into profits in a single quarter. Benefiting from the fact that major manufacturers stopped producing MLC NAND and exited the market, the demand for embedded eMMC products that integrate controllers has increased, allowing Macronix to receive further related orders, and it is expected to begin large-scale shipments in the second half of the year.

In addition, the AI market of beneficiary enterprises continues to have a booming demand for SSDs, causing NAND Flash to continue to be in short supply. It is expected to drive up prices, which will help achieve the goal of turning losses into profits in a single quarter when the market inventory pressure is alleviated. Macronix is also expected to hold a press conference on October 29 to announce Macronix’s operating results report for the third quarter of 2025.
