Trump s announcement to "slightly higher than 10%" of the taxes related to more than 100 small countries, mainly in these 2 regions

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday (15th) that he would soon issue a notice letter on the US tax rate to smaller countries, which may set taxes "slightly higher than 10%".
Trump told reporters after the Pittsburgh event that he was quite satisfied with the recently announced "simple deal" and would soon resolve tax issues in his remaining countries.
Trump said, "We will soon issue a letter talking about many countries with much smaller sizes. It may set a tax of about …… for all of these countries," Trump said.
It is reported that the Trump administration will charge new taxes on imported products from more than 100 small countries, which may be slightly higher than 10%, "we will set a tax for these countries." According to U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, the country is mostly African and Caribbean, with target countries usually having little trade volume with the United States, which is unlikely to affect the broader trade deficit in the United States.
Recently, Trump has issued a formal notice to more than 20 countries and the European Union, describing the new tax rate to come into effect on August 1. These taxes are the same as those announced on April 2 and follow the 90-day consultation window ending on July 9.
Trump also hinted that taxes may be charged for imported drugs by the end of the month, and said that companies will be given one year to produce domestically before the higher tax rates take effect. It is currently expected that semiconductor chips will also face similar stage-related taxes.
