Manchester United mourns Jota and his brothers: May they rest in heaven and pray for their loved ones
Manchester United expresses deep condolences for the death of Jota and his brothers. Liverpool striker Jota and his brother Andre died in a car accident while on vacation in Spain. Many people in the football world, including Manchester United's active and former players, paid tribute to the 28-year-old Portugal international.
Manchester United captain B Fei shared a photo with Jota on Instagram and wrote: "Friends and teammates have experienced countless battles together. It is difficult to understand why some people left so suddenly. May you and your brothers rest in peace, and I hope you can bless those who are sad because of your sudden departure. I extend my deep condolences to your whole family."
Manchester United defender Dalot, who participated in the 2020 and 2024 European Cups with Jota, also expressed his condolences: "Heartbreak... No Words... May your family be strong."
C Ronaldo once fought side by side with Jota in the national team. He wrote on social media: "This is incredible. Not long ago we played football together in the national team, and you were just married not long ago. Excuse your deepest condolences to your family, wife and children, and wish them the strength of the whole world. I know you will always be with them. May Jota and Andre rest in peace, and we will miss you forever."
