Manchester United coach Amorin confirmed last week that after signing Lamons with a buzzer of 18.2 million pounds, Manchester United still has no clear main goalkeeper. Baindel started all of their Premier League games but was unstable and was responsible for conceding against Arsenal and Burnley. Onana, who has made frequent mistakes, has joined Trabzon Sports on loan for one season, but it is almost impossible to regain Manchester United's main goalkeeper position.

Milan goalkeeper Meinion's contract expires next year, and Manchester United recently made contact with his representatives. Manchester United failed to make a loan inquiry against Villa goalkeeper Martinez this summer, whose contract was until 2029. Martinez wants to join Manchester United and is excluded from Villa's 0-3 Crystal Palace's roster.

Baindel joined Manchester United from Fenerbahce for £4.3 million two years ago as a substitute for Onana, who arrived in the same summer. Third goalkeeper Tom Heaton will turn 40 in April and may retire after the end of the season. Heaton has not participated in the game since February 2023 and has only made three appearances since rejoining Manchester United in July 2021.

Manchester United also plans to introduce at least one midfielder. Brighton's strongman Baleba has been identified as a potential target. Manchester United cannot fund midfield signings in the recent transfer window because Casemiro cannot be sold and the player will leave the team freely when his contract expires next year.

Casemiro is one of Manchester United's highest-paid players, with a weekly salary of 300,000 pounds, but his salary has been reduced by 25% as the club still misses the Champions League. Casemiro's departure will provide Manchester United with room for funding important signings for the replacement.
