The difference between cashmere and cashmere
Many people think that cashmere is wool, but this understanding is incorrect. Only the velvet that comes from the goat's body is called cashmere, which is cashmere, which is what we call cashmere. Cashmere sweaters refer to shirts made of (mountain) cashmere. The ones that come from the sheep are called wool, which is called wool in the industry. Even if the wool is very thin, we also call it wool in professional terms, not velvet, and of course it can also be called fine wool.
Cashmere is a fine fuzz growing on the body of a goat. This goat is called velvet goat. It has good warmth and moisture absorption. The diameter of the fuzz is 14-17 microns and a length of 30-45 mm. The fibers of cashmere are composed of a cortical layer and a scale layer. The cross-section of the fiber is oval cylindrical. A goat produces about 75 grams of plushless annually. In other words, only one ordinary cashmere sweater can be woven in a year. Cashmere products mainly include cashmere sweaters, cashmere pants, cashmere skirts, cashmere scarves, etc. From the outside, it has a natural luster, soft and plump feel, soft, light, warm, smooth and elastic. Therefore, cashmere is known as "fiber gem" and "soft gold" and "soft gold".
Sheep do not produce velvet at all, so naturally there are no cashmere sweaters. In fact, sheep produces wool. It produces a large amount and has a large amount. The fineness of the wool is between 20-40 microns and a length of 50-200 mm. It can be processed and woven into coarse and worsted products, such as coats, uniforms, blankets, tweeds, wool sweaters, etc.
“Cashmere” and “Cashmere” are two products with completely different internal quality, and the price is generally 5 times that of the latter.
How to clean cashmere?
is known as the "soft gold" cashmere product. Because its fibers are thin and short, the product's strength, wear resistance, pilling performance and other indicators are not as good as wool. It is very delicate and its characteristics are really like the skin of "baby" which is soft, delicate, smooth and elastic. However, remember that it is delicate and easy to break, improper use, and it is easy to shorten the service life.
When wearing cashmere products, special attention should be paid to reducing greater friction. When wearing it, the material of the outer coat that matches it should be smooth and not too rough or hard. Do not put hard objects in the inner bag, insert pens, books, wallets, etc., and pay attention to removing debris in the pocket in time to avoid local friction and pilling. When wearing it outside, minimize friction with hard objects (such as long-term friction between sleeves and tabletop, sleeves and sofa handrails, back and sofa, etc.) and strong hard hooks. Prevent contact with corrosive substances. The wearing time should not be too long. Pay attention to intervals about 10 days to restore elasticity to avoid fiber fatigue. If there are two pieces that can be worn in rotation, it should be hung in a ventilated and dry place when not worn.
Cashmere is a protein fiber and is particularly prone to insect damage. When collecting, it should be washed and dried, and an appropriate amount of insect damage should be placed. Pay attention to ventilation and moisture prevention. When washing, pay attention to “ Three elements”
1. Neutral detergent must be selected;
2. The water temperature is controlled at 30℃~35℃;
3. Rub carefully and do not use force. Clean water, dry flat, and do not expose it to the sun.
