How to clean a suit? Washing and maintenance of suits
Suits are usually the first choice for men's clothing for corporate and governmental practitioners in more formal occasions.
The reason why suits have been prosperous is that they have profound cultural connotations. The mainstream suit culture is often labeled as "cultural, educated, gentlemanly, and authoritative".
Suits have always been pets in the kingdom of men's clothing, and are often used to describe gentle and handsome men. The main features of a suit are its crisp appearance, smooth lines and comfortable wear. If paired with a tie or bow tie, it will look more elegant and simple.
Dreaming and Care of Suits
High-quality Suits are mostly made of natural fibers such as wool, silk, mohair, cashmere, etc. After wearing this type of suit, it will be deformed due to local tension, but let it rest properly and recover. Therefore, two or three sets of replacement clothes should be prepared.
Clear the items in the pocket
After returning home, change the clothes immediately, that is, take the items in the exit bag. If the pocket is filled with things and hung, the clothes will easily deform.
Remotely clean clothes
Dust dirt is the biggest enemy of suits and will make the suit lose its freshness. Therefore, it is necessary to use a brush to gently brush away the dust. Sometimes the suit is stained with other fibers or dust that is less easy to remove. You can use tape paper to absorb it, which is very effective.
Suits are simple to remove wrinkles
Wearing or putting suits in a wardrobe for a long time, hanging them in a place with little humidity, which is conducive to fiber recovery, but excessive humidity affects the shape of the suit. Generally, wool suits are placed in an environment with a relative humidity of 35%-40% for one night to remove wrinkles in the clothes.
Suits should be hung with clothes hangers.
The hanging suits are preferably made of wood or plastic wide-handled arc-shaped suits. This type of clothes hanger is mostly made into a garment and pants. The trousers can be hung with clothes and pants, or a trousers special rack with clips, aligning the trousers' threads, clamping the legs, and hanging them upside down.
Suit collection
Before collecting suits, remove the dirt in the clothes and send them to the dry cleaner for dry cleaning. After dry cleaning, hang it with a clothes hanger, put naphthalene, camphor and other insect removal agents in the pocket, put a plastic cover on it, and store it. It is best to have a place with good ventilation and low humidity.
Remove the bright light from the suit
The suits you have worn for a long time (especially glossy fabrics), and it is easy to produce bright light on the elbows and knees. Prepare half a basin of clean water and drop a few drops of vinegar into the clean water. After wet the towel, wipe it with the towel in one direction a few times to remove the bright light. It is best to clean the suits at a professional dry cleaner. When cleaning at home, you can use organic solvents or dry cleaners to gently wash them, then suck them dry with a white towel several times, and finally wash them with a small amount of water, and then iron them carefully. During the ironing process, you cannot use a steam iron to spray directly with the clothes, otherwise it will cause the bonding lining to get damp. When you go out, if it rains, try to avoid the clothes getting wet. Especially in the rainy season every year, if you are not careful, it is very easy to cause the adhesive lining to get damp. The adhesive lining is the bubble phenomenon we usually see.
