This summer is the craziest transfer window in history. Many major deals were completed on the transfer window deadline. Famous reporter Romano revealed some details of the transaction. Bayern did consider introducing Anthony and Lukeman.

For Anthony joining Betis, Bayern had considered intercepting the deal because they were worried that the deal to introduce Nicholas Jackson would fail. In fact, Jackson's deal to join Bayern did stagnate, but it was estimated that it lasted 24 to 48 hours. Bayern and Anthony's agent contacted and asked about the possibility of renting first and then buying. However, in terms of players' wishes, Anthony would rather go to Betis to play football. For Manchester United, they have never received a formal offer from Bayern, because Anthony is just an alternative for Bayern to introduce Jackson.

For the introduction of Lukeman, Bayern did submit a rent-and-buy offer to Atlanta, with the non-mandatory buyout fee of 28 million euros. However, Atlanta didn’t even respond to such a offer. For Serie A clubs, they have previously rejected Inter Milan's offer of a total price of 45 million euros, and Bayern's offer seems a bit ridiculous to them.
