Liverpool lost 0-1 to Galatasaray in this round of the Champions League, suffering two consecutive losses in all competitions. After the game, Liverpool legend and commentator Carragher expressed concerns about the team's decline in form and control.

Carragher said: "It's really worrying, but it's not just the last two games that aren't reassuring, I think Liverpool has been very worrying so far this season. I've had this feeling very early, and in the first round of the league against Bournemouth, I expressed this to the head coach on the sidelines, which Liverpool won 4-2.

"I don't feel like I'm watching a top league team game." Liverpool is not playing football now, but playing basketball. The rhythm is back and forth, and I don’t think top teams will play football like this.

"Liverpool did not improve on the offensive end, but instead fell on the defensive end. I think for the head coach, they went smoothly last season and now they have to come up with some real guys. He did do it last season and won the Premier League title, which is incredible, but he also has some problems to solve. I'm looking forward to seeing how he solves it because he's spent a lot of money on some players, and now I feel the team is not well balanced."
