British media: Zirkzee is considering leaving the team on loan in the winter window, but Manchester United may not be willing to let him go

According to an exclusive report from talkSPORT, Manchester United forward Zirkzee is actively seeking to leave the team on loan in January to compete for the opportunity to participate in the 2026 World Cup.
He has had few opportunities at Manchester United this season. He has only played 90 minutes in 5 appearances and has yet to score a goal. Zirkzee has fallen further down the pecking order after the arrival of Sheshko and the use of Cunha as the No.9.
Reports revealed that Zirkzee's willingness to leave the team has led to preliminary contact with Roma. Ferguson, who is currently on loan from Roma, has not scored yet, and Dov Bik has only scored 2 goals. In addition, West Ham United and PSV are also paying attention to him. West Ham boss Nuno is almost certain to bring in a centre-forward in January with Phil Kruger injured and Wilson's contract expensive, while Zirkzee is open to staying in the Premier League.
However, the transfer faces resistance from Manchester United, and formal talks are expected to take place in November. Head coach Amorim still sees Zirkzee as a valuable player who offers different attributes and frontcourt defense.
Therefore, Manchester United does not guarantee that it will approve the loan, just like they prevented Menu from leaving the team on loan last summer. Zirkzee may be forced to stay at the team unless Manchester United can bring in a replacement in January and the next club is willing to bear 100% of his wages.
