If your dog's eyes become cloudy, then you may be worried. In fact, this is just one of the changes, is the dog getting older? You may be right that dogs’ eyes do change with age, and this age-related change is called nuclear sclerosis.

The lens of a dog's eyes is a solid state disk located in the center of the eye. It is located in the iris and is not usually seen as it is completely transparent, like glass. When the light enters the eye, it passes through the pupils and the part behind the eye. The lens is an important part of the eye and we can see it at different distances when it changes shape.

When a dog grows older, changes happen inside the body. Maybe it has less energy, becomes a little fat, or may form a small arthritis, and there is a change in the eyes. Moreover, the core will continue to harden, and begin to become less transparent, and more "yin" parts appear. This hardening leads to turbidity. This is a gradual process that generally does not cause vision problems, which is called nuclear sclerosis.
