Haiting signed a letter of intent with Norway Solvang, fleet decarbonization helps green shipping
my country's maritime giant Seatrium signed a letter of intent to cooperate with Norwegian shipping company Solvang ASA to further install and modify carbon capture and storage (CCS) systems for the latter's fleet.
At present, the company has delivered nearly 600 sustainable related solutions, such as low-carbon, energy-saving transformation and environmental compliance projects, and is committed to providing the world's top shipping decarbonization services.
The company issued a statement to announce the news on Thursday (June 19). Haiting delivered the world's first 7-MW CCS system vessel to Solvang in February this year. Solvang also plans to launch the CCS modification project of the first large-scale liquefied gas ship by the end of 2026, continuing to promote the decarbonization of the fleet.
Haiting said that with its deep engineering expertise, the company has established a good performance record in maritime green technology.
